Ridgewood NJ. The driver of a 4-door Honda Civic was not injured during a crash in which his vehicle slammed head-on into a utility pole in front of the Benjamin Franklin Middle School, 335 North Van Dien Avenue, Ridgewood on Wednesday afternoon, 10/23. Ridgewood Police, Ridgewood Fire Department, and Ridgewood Emergency Services responded to the incident.

Electric power to nearby Red Birch Court was disrupted by the accident, which Ridgewood Police estimated could take hours to clean up. A flatbed tow truck removed the wreckage. Police did not say how many summonses the driver received in connection with the mishap.
Ridgewood Police: E.Glen Ave was closed between N.Pleasant Ave and Fairfield Ave due to a car accident involving power lines. BF middle school dismissal will be in the back of the school enter from the Linwood Ave side.
