Ridgewood NJ, LEAF UPDATE: Area A has been completed. The final placement date for Area A is from December 11th to December 17th with collection to follow. Area B will begin collection on December 11th. Area C is currently in the process of being collected. This will be our final collection in all areas.
If Area A is completed, how can the final collection take place after December 17? What does “completed mean?
On my street there are big mounds of leaves covered by snow that just look like snow. I sincerely hope the leaf picker-uppers recognize that they are leaves, and take them, or my street will be a nightmare until spring.

How come my road is not getting swept like others in the town. I’m up on Andover.
Yes that’s funny, I live on Hillcrest and the same thing they do not sweep the road . if they pick up the leaves why is that. My in-laws live on Spring Avenue and today they picked up the leaves and swept the street. What’s up with that ,anybody now please thank you

I think they are doing a good job. My only concern is that there are still a lot of leaves still up on the trees. They’ll fall after the last collection date and then we will have some issues.
If leaves fall after collection . . . BAG THEM AND TAKE THEM TO THE RECYCLING CENTER!!! This isn’t rocket science.
Oh my god you complainers need to give it a rest. The workers are doing a great job. It is freezing and wet and dark most mornings when they are out there getting started. Aren’t you glad that someone is cleaning up your mess?
