RIDGEWOOD — The Village Council will meet behind closed doors this week to discuss the employment of Village Manager Kenneth Gabbert.
An official notice about the special meeting — called for Tuesday at 6 p.m. — claims it will center on “the Village Manager’s Office” and that formal action will be taken.
The special meeting will be before the public session.

How much will it cost to fire Mr. Gabbert?
Whom does the mayor have in mind to replace him?
The answers to both questions are urgently needed and taxpayers deserve to know.
If the council played it’s cards right it shouldn’t cost anything if it does, the village attorney, and the labor attorney, should be fired right along with him.
you mean the village attorney who just got his 225K side gig renewed??? THAT village attorney?
How much will Mayor Paul Aronsohn hatred for Gabbert going to cost the Ridgewood Tax payer. For the rest of the village employees better change you affiliation from Rep to Dem and don’t forget to kiss up to the Mayor when you see him and never but never say no to him our you too will be on the outside looking in.
I think Councilwoman Walsh is away this week. Any cause and effect re: this week’s meeting?
The newspaper said that she just found out about the meeting and had plans already. Are they allowed to hold a meeting knowing other members won’t be there or do they just have to have a majority? This sounds a little sneaky.
What is the rush? Is it that Aronsohn wants a certain voting result and believes he would not get it if Walsh is available to vote?
Aronsohn, Puccirelli and Hauck all vote together on everything so it doesn’t really matter if Walsh is there or not. These three are trying to run things like Ridgewood is their own private club.
Status of Village Manager 6p.m. meeting today. It should have good public attendance.
Dom everyone is on vacation its being done during the summer for that very reason
