Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Police report that on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, police were dispatched to the rear of Starbuck’s Coffee (193 East Ridgewood Avenue) on the report of juveniles fighting.
A Starbuck’s employee reported that a group of juveniles had been harassing customers inside the store and were asked to leave. As they exited the rear of the shop they tipped over several planters.
Ridgewood Police remind residents that all defendants are considered innocent until found guilty in a court of law. If anyone has information regarding any of the listed incidents, please contact the Ridgewood Police Department at 201-652-3900.

Well our Mayor should call for a civility meeting at Starbucks . I know it was one of his field offices
Show us pictures. If they are from Ridgewood they will be quickly identified.
So much for our historic “wonderful” little downtown town. Get real this stuff happens everywhere these days.

We have too many restaurants in Ridgewood. Years ago the NYTimes ran an article on Ridgewood in the Real Estate section. The one complaint about the town at that time was that Ridgewood was becoming restaurant row. There should be a limit of say five not fifty.
It’s a myth that the town needs a Hobokon “vibrant” downtown. Good schools are enough and the taxes on houses pay for that.
Also if fewer people moved here it would be better. So let’s not shop or eat downtown, I won’t.
First they said too many gas stations and liquor stores.
Then it was too many banks
Then too many nail salons.
Now it’s too many restaurants.
Quit bitching.
Starbucks has had many problems in the past,back parking lot at night is a drug den.
They were probably just angry because it took 45 minutes to get a late. Ridgewood is the slowest Starbucks in all the land. Brutal.
Remember when Bolger offered a donation of security cameras hooked up to police headquarters? That parking lot would have been an ideal location.
That parking lot is private property not owned by the Village.Do you see any meters in the lot? And stop watching CSI
Is CSI still on? Some years ago, when there was a reputation for occasional drug dealing there, neither the residents of Ridgewood nor the owners of the businesses or the lot had a problem with a cop car sitting over there some nights. Video camera -no, but overtime for cops would be okay?
