    1. Yip…nasty SOB

  2. Everyone is just putting their time in and getting out. The whole place changed. Morale sucks. And that’s across the board in every department. A bunch of back stabbers, everyone talks about everybody else. Just amazing there’s no more loyalty, done. Like one guy that worked for the town for 40 years he said the place is in the toilet.

  3. Best wishes on your retirement!

  4. Move out of the state, go down south.

  5. Why wouldn’t they leave when the time is right, remember these are all guys hired in a certain time period all get a great retirement package, 80% of their last three years salary. They are no dummies. The retirement is not like that for the new guy’s ,thanks to past governor Codey .. I bet he made 200+
Thanks for your service … Although he was an A$$ Hole

    1. Actually for age 55+ benefits are Years of Service x 2% x Final Compensation* = Annual Maximum Pension

        New Legislation Notice – P.L. 2021, c. 52 (Chapter 52)
This letter serves as notification of a new law that entitles members of the Police and Firemen’s Retirement System (PFRS) to a Service Retirement with an allowance equal to 50 percent of the member’s Final Compensation, regardless of age or enrollment date, upon attaining 20 or more years of service credit, if they retire within two years of the enactment of the law.Under previous law, P.L. 1944, c. 255, Service Retirement eligibility was limited to members who were 55 years of age or older. Eligibility for the benefit was amended pursuant to P.L. 1999, c. 428, which permitted members enrolled in the PFRS as of January 18, 2000, to receive a retirement benefit of 50 percent of Final Compensation upon attaining 20 years or more of service credit, regardless of age. Eligibility was not extended, however, to those members enrolled after the effective date of the law. Chapter 52 extends the eligibility for a Service Retirement to PFRS members who retire within two years of the enactment date of the law with 20 years of service credit, regardless of enrollment date or age at the time of retirement.
