Ridgewood NJ, Milling and Paving his morning on Bogert Ave and Cambridge Road Are being milled this morning. Sterling place Kensington Drive and Abbey Court are being paved. Police officers are on those streets to assist with traffic
pave when the leaves are falling…. brilliant.
better than the leaves just falling. they scheduled milling and paving on the days when leaves are supposed to be picked up. hahahahahaha…yeah.
Pave on the days when the kids will be trick or treating. Also a brilliant move.
Who’s to blame? Rutishauser, of course. Mr. Ghetto Palm himself.
Great coordination and planning. Couldn’t have done better myself…oh wait, yeah I could.
Complain,complain,complain…..
East side paving will be on Halloween. You can’t make this stuff up
I can’t believe it but they FINALLY paved the overpass connecting Paramus Road to the Saddle River Road.

I’m not sure the Village Engineer micro-manages and/or controls the daily scheduling of paving. When a contract is awarded, it says work must be completed by a certain date and the contractor sets a tentative schedule according to availability of crews, equipment, weather contingencies, etc. The Village Engineer is not running the contractor’s business.
Who is paying for the extra leaf collections on milling and paving days??
This has been going on for two weeks so far.
