RIDGEWOOD, NJ – The Ridgewood Police Department is actively searching for a red, 4-door sedan, possibly a Nissan, involved in an alleged hit-and-run incident that injured two pedestrians Friday afternoon, July 18, on East Ridgewood Avenue near Van Neste Memorial Park.

After striking two pedestrians, the vehicle was seen fleeing southbound on Prospect Street.
Victim Status
One victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury but refused medical attention at the scene.
Ridgewood Fire Department/EMS and Ridgewood Professional Firefighters FMBA Local 47 responded promptly to assist.
Police Seeking Witnesses
Ridgewood Police urge anyone who witnessed the hit-and-run or has information about the suspect vehicle to contact them immediately at 201-652-3900 (Option #3).
