Ridgewood Resident Thomas Gorman takes over the reins of Principal of Ridgewood High School

Ridgewood NJ, At the end of March a search committee recommended that the current principal of Westwood Regional Junior/Senior High School Thomas Gorman to become the new principal of Ridgewood High School (RHS) . The Board of Education unanimously supported that choice .

The approval by the Ridgewood Board of Education (BOE), came with the full support of Ridgewood Schools Superintendent Daniel Fishbein. Gorman, will take over the principal job at Ridgewood High School after the resignation of Jack Lorenz last April . Gorman who is a resident of Ridgewood , has children in the village school system. He has been an educator for 14 years, spending the last five as principal in Westwood. Before that, he taught social studies at Teaneck High School and Ramapo High School, and then held administrative positions at Midland Park High School and Ramapo High School.   1. We wish Mr. Gorman well and better luck than Mr. Lorenz in dealing with the yahoos who run Cottage Place.
