Ridgewood NJ, on Wednesday, officials from the village school district announced that they are actively seeking “alternative playing spaces” for their athletes. This move comes as the district grapples with an uncertain timeline for flood repairs required at the RHS stadium and Stevens Field.
Residents rightfully have raised concerns over cost and timeline . Dr Schwarz covered in detail at his superintendent’s coffee. The Superintendent Coffee events are also held on zoom, once a month and provide a two way communication (unlike the board meetings, which are one way public comment).
At the February 8th coffee Dr Schwarz addressed the costs, what will be covered by insurance and medium and long term plans (or at-least the efforts towards a plan): https://www.youtube.com/live/eNECwC3II6E?si=aeifw2sDPJiDDxBp

maybe the superintendent can speak to the memo from the principal…. who apparently can’t accept criticism from his own teachers and parents on the merits of mid term exams.
