Ridgewood NJ, The state Department of Education recently released its annual Taxpayer’s Guide to Education Spending for 2018, which shows the median salary in every New Jersey school district and charter school.
The median salary for a New Jersey teacher was $67,812 last school year, obviously pay for teachers varied widely based on experience, location and the skills needed for the position.
The Ridgewood assembled a list of Bergen County teachers median pay in the top 50 median pay in the entire state . The first number is the state ranking and the order is the Bergen County ranking .
Northern Valley Regional High School District came in tops in the state and Bergen County with a whopping median teacher salary: $108,867, Ridgewood came in 8th in the county and 31st in the state in teachers median pay with a median teacher salary: $83,425 .
