Ridgewood Nj, while serous concerns were raised over the condition of the turf fields the Village Council failed to reach out to flood damaged residents . Sadly it seems like all the attention is on the football field and residents who were flooded felt ignored.

Village Manager Keith Kazmark said in a Facebook comment ,”For the record, none have been made as of now. We also had no police or OEM reports of flooding in residences or reports of property damage. We also had no requests of the Fire Department for pump outs or flood related responses at any homes. Our priority is and will always be residents first.”

Kazmark  added Village,” Sanitation was directed the next morning to collect any bulk pick up requests due to flooding.”

Over the weekend, residents along East Saddle River Road had rugs, mattresses, etc out front on their fences drying. In one case a residents cars were surrounded by water during the storm.
