why does the tap water stink so bad like chlorine?
Maybe we should fix our wells instead of buying that shitty tasting surface water from other utilities
We USED to have the best tasting well water…..

I am not a fan of the Ridgewood Water utility for a number of reasons, but the chlorination is a result of state requirements to treat the water, so that is what has changed. There is no way to fix the wells aside from treating the water. PFOS treatment is an entirely different story.
They don’t have a chemist right now, and if not why not.

The samples are sent to a lab and it is currently outsourced.
Getting an in house chemist will help them control the test results….
