Myself and 2 RW friends are affected and did not receive 911 call.
Did not get a call either. Would never have known if our neighbor didn’t alert us.
I believe you have to sign up to receive alerts: https://www.ridgewoodnj.net/275/Village-of-Ridgewood-Ridgewood-Water-Eme

this did not happen consistently
Also affected and no call received. Baby in house so, if this is urgent, major neglect to say called and not have called.
But isn’t my lawn is probably more important than some random baby?
We got both calls, that we are affected and then that we aren’t affected BUT our entire neighborhood is on the map. We’re using bottled and boiled water. Hope it’s over soon.
How about everyone boil their water just in case. exactly don’t know how far the contamination went, just like the contaminated soil. It’s all over the place.☠️
How was it determined that excessive lawn watering was the cause of the low pressure?
Don’t worry, you could drink the water, you’ll be OK, it’s safe, they said so. I want to Home Depot and put my own water kit to test you can go to a local pool supply company too.
Ridgewood Water lied. It was not due to overwatering. There was a water main break on Hill Street in Midland Park. I think Ridgewood Water better recant their first news that they blamed Midland Park for overuse that caused the interruption of clean water on or about 9/22/2024. Get it together Ridgewood Water. I’m smelling another class action lawsuit against Ridgewood Water. Hope Ridgewood Water is not doing this in Vermont, where there is another office there for them.
Ridgewood blamed Midland Park residents for a water main break. Seriously?!
What no pictures? The advisory drop in water pressure , said it was contained to Hill St. in Midland Park. Obviously a water main break.
Sure – blame the residents….because it can’t be due to anything RW is responsible for……
Two sides of the same jackass coin.
Third world problems, first world taxes.
We are affected and did not receive any calls from reverse 911.
Also cannot find any update. That was supposed to be given by 6pm today.
