RIDGEWOOD — Ridgewood Water is seeking permission to install backup generators at 11 sites in three of its service towns as a result of directives from the federal Environmental Protection Agency.
Ridgewood Water has been ordered to install the generators in two phases in Wyckoff, Midland Park and Ridgewood. Phase I installations must be complete and “fully operational” by July 15. Â Phase II installation contracts must be awarded by Dec. 1, and completed by July 15, 2018.
