Ridgewood Welcomes Three New Police Officers to the Force

Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Police Department is growing! In a special ceremony, Mayor Paul Vagianos had the pleasure of swearing in three new police officers, a key step in strengthening the department’s ability to serve and protect the community.
The three new officers are:
- David Denicola
- Brian Skettini
- John Riker
They were joined at the ceremony by their families and fellow officers, including Lt. Peter Bolten and Ptl. Peter Youngberg, who welcomed them to the force.
This addition of new officers marks an important investment in the safety and well-being of the village. The new officers will now begin their training and patrols, bringing new skills and energy to the department.
Their presence on the force will help the Ridgewood Police Department continue its mission of keeping the community safe and building strong relationships with residents. The Village of Ridgewood extends a warm welcome to the new officers and their families.

Problem is, the people that would take the job, are people you don’t want in the job.
Remember back in the 70s early 80s if you had tattoos and you were riding all Davison, my God you were pulled over harassed like you were an illegal alien. Now you see police with tattoos over their whole body and riding Harley Davidson go figure and I’m not going to talk about the drinking and legal marijuana that’s a whole another story. And yes, what are y’all going to see people put thumbs down, but you know what too damn bad because that’s the truth. You don’t like it. Change the channel.🫵🏼👍
These guys are built for war not to police a quiet liberal town like ridgewood.
