Ridgewood’s Caytha Jentis “Bad Parents” debuts at Montclair Film Festival

Ridgewood NJ , Ridgewood’s Caytha Jentis premiered her new film “Bad Parents” at the Montclair Film Festival Wednesday night. The film stars Janeane Garofalo and Ben Bailey. Lauren Sudol of Ridgewood plays Garofalo’s daughter in the film.
“Bad Parents” is an off beat black comedy that tells the story of a mother (Garofalo) signing up her 7-year-old daughter ( Sudol) for the club soccer team and quickly becoming immersed in the suburban youth sports life and politics that goes with it before she finally snaps.
The film was shot and produced on location in the Village of Ridgewood. and it pokes fun at the suburban obsession with youth sports ,not entirely unknown in the turf laden Village .
