Ridgewood NJ, a white Audi SUV overturned in a rollover crash on Saturday afternoon at the intersection of East Glen Avenue and Fairfield Avenue in Ridgewood. Emergency crews from the Ridgewood Police Department and Ridgewood Fire Department/EMS quickly responded to the scene to provide assistance, control traffic, and address any potential hazards.
No Injuries Reported
Despite the dramatic nature of the accident, both occupants of the vehicle declined medical attention, according to emergency responders on-site. The cause of the crash has not yet been officially released.
Emergency Response
Members of Ridgewood Professional Firefighters FMBA Local 47 and EMS personnel assisted in securing the area and ensuring public safety. Ridgewood police handled traffic redirection and documented the incident for investigation.
A local towing service arrived on the scene to upright the overturned vehicle and safely remove it from the intersection.
Intersection Temporarily Closed
The busy Ridgewood intersection was temporarily shut down while crews worked to clear the wreckage and restore safe traffic flow. Drivers were urged to avoid the area for about an hour following the incident.
