GLEN ROCK, NJ — A quiet Monday afternoon near Hamilton Elementary School turned chaotic when a sedan flipped onto its roof, trapping the driver inside.
At approximately 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025, emergency crews from Glen Rock and Hawthorne rushed to the 400 block of Harristown Road following reports of a violent single-vehicle rollover.
The Rescue: High-Stakes Extrication
First responders arrived to find a white 4-door Toyota sedan resting on its roof in the roadway. Because the driver was trapped within the wreckage, the Glen Rock Volunteer Fire Department, supported by the Hawthorne Fire Department, immediately began a complex extrication process.
