Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood just got a new late-night food hotspot with the launch of Screamers, a pop-up eatery operating out of Best of Everything at 29 Oak Street.
Founded by Tim Dini, who has worked at the deli since he was 17, Screamers was born out of a simple idea—why let the shop sit empty at night when Ridgewood has so few late-night food options?
A Late-Night Food Haven for the Younger Crowd
Dini noticed that Ridgewood lacks spots where the younger crowd can hang out and grab a bite in the evenings. That’s where Screamers comes in, serving up a unique menu that would be difficult to execute during regular deli hours.
???? What’s on the Menu?
Available exclusively after 5 PM, Screamers offers a mouthwatering selection of:
✅ Freshly made pizza – with homemade dough, fresh mozzarella, and house-made sauce
✅ Crispy chicken tenders & fries
✅ Gourmet paninis – served on house-made round focaccia bread
✅ Deep-fried desserts – dipped in homemade batter for a deliciously indulgent treat
✅ And more!
Everything is made-to-order, ensuring quality, freshness, and flavor in every bite.
More Than Just Food – Future Plans for Live Music & Events
As Screamers continues to grow, Dini hopes to expand hours and introduce monthly events, including live music—a natural extension of his passion, as he’s also a musician. While the logistics are still being worked out, the goal is to create a fun, late-night space for Ridgewood’s community.
When & Where to Find Screamers

A late night space for Ridgewood’s community? Do people not do any kind of research before they open a business?
Just because you’re an old curmudgeon doesn’t mean there aren’t folks who would like this.
Name one.
You think the youth of Ridgewood will be coming here? How many paninis do you think they’re going to sell? There aren’t enough “target customers” to begin with.
Let me know when one of your kids says “If you need me I’ll be at Screamers.”
With all due respect…I’m guessing you’re at least 70-75 years old?
Be honest.
The Sugar&Spice cafe that featured pool tables, chess/checkers/board games/books and all kinds of sugary and savory food — the prior answer to “Ridgewood needs a youth spot” — lasted all of three months.
5pm to 9pm. I would think that’s pretty spot on for their target customer?
Maybe if f their target market was grammar school kids….
How is 5-9 late night?
Nothing about this makes any sense but the trolls have made up their minds. But the money for this absurd venture isn’t coming out of their pockets so why should they care?
Didn’t Blend close at 1am?
They were the “good ole days “
Mid-80’s to mid 90’s were the best!
Then grunge and internet happened and nightlife hasn’t been the same since
I love the Best of Everything.
Good luck !
Nasty comments from nasty people ????
I think it sounds like some people are jealous, give them a chance, if it works out, extend the hours to later hours, as long as the cops don’t get involved
I don’t see any nasty comments. I see people questioning the feasibility of the concept, much like questioning why the village needs dozens of barbershops and botox salons. But like a bunch of liberal crybabies, when someone presents them with a painful reality it’s just easier to dismiss it as hate.
