West Palm Beach Fl, A tense situation unfolded Sunday afternoon as the Secret Service, in collaboration with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, responded to a protective incident involving former President Donald Trump. Fortunately, Trump is safe and unharmed after what the FBI described as an apparent assassination attempt near his West Palm Beach golf course.
The incident occurred shortly before 2 p.m. when Secret Service agents, who were securing the area ahead of Trump’s arrival, noticed suspicious activity near the property line. Live coverage revealed that an AK-47-pattern rifle was discovered at the scene, and a Secret Service drone captured footage of a shooter entering a vehicle. However, it remains unclear whether the vehicle or the suspect has been fully identified at this time.
During an afternoon press conference, law enforcement officials disclosed that the gunman had concealed himself in bushes near the golf course’s perimeter. Agents spotted the rifle and quickly engaged the shooter, firing at least four rounds around 1:30 p.m. The gunman dropped his weapon, along with two backpacks, and fled the scene in a black Nissan car. A witness managed to photograph the vehicle and its license plate, providing crucial information to authorities.
An alert was issued to statewide law enforcement, leading sheriff’s deputies in neighboring Martin County to stop and apprehend the suspect on I-95.
“We have somebody in custody right now,” confirmed Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw.
Trump’s campaign swiftly addressed the incident, ensuring the public that the former president was unharmed. Trump himself sent an email to his supporters, stating, “There were gunshots in my vicinity, but before rumors start spiraling out of control, I wanted you to hear this first: I AM SAFE AND WELL!”
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to gather more details about the suspect and the events leading up to the incident.

Democrats for years with the assistance of the media have failed to stop Trump with all the false accusations and claims have resorted to this!
I thought Biden told everyone to keep the rhetoric down following the first incident? No chance. Kamala made personal attacks at the last debate instead of answering any of the softball questions.
