Elmwood Park NJ, a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday, February 5, in the 200 block of eastbound Broadway led to a full road closure while emergency crews worked to rescue a trapped driver from an overturned vehicle.
Firefighters Rescue Driver from Rollover Crash
???????? A black Jeep Cherokee rolled over in the crash, trapping the female driver inside. Elmwood Park Fire Department firefighters worked tirelessly to extricate her from the wreckage.
???? Both drivers were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.
Investigation Underway
???? Elmwood Park Police Department reached out to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Fatal Accident Investigation Unit for possible assistance in determining the cause of the crash.
???? Hospital-based ambulances and paramedics were on the scene, providing immediate medical aid to both victims.
