Elmwood Park NJ, a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday, February 5, in the 200 block of eastbound Broadway led to a full road closure while emergency crews worked to rescue a trapped driver from an overturned vehicle.
Firefighters Rescue Driver from Rollover Crash
🚙💥 A black Jeep Cherokee rolled over in the crash, trapping the female driver inside. Elmwood Park Fire Department firefighters worked tirelessly to extricate her from the wreckage.
🚑 Both drivers were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.
Investigation Underway
👮 Elmwood Park Police Department reached out to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Fatal Accident Investigation Unit for possible assistance in determining the cause of the crash.
🏥 Hospital-based ambulances and paramedics were on the scene, providing immediate medical aid to both victims.
