Seth Rogen: No regrets about making ‘The Interview‘
By Judy Kurtz
Before Sony Pictures pulled the plug Wednesday on the Dec. 25 release of “The Interview” amid terrorism threats, Seth Rogen told The Hill he had no second thoughts about the movie he co-wrote and directed.
Asked if he regretted focusing the movie around real-life North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, rather than an imaginary dictator, Rogen said, “No, not at all. I think it’s really funny.”
“I’m sure they’ll see it,” Rogen, 32, said at the time of North Korean officials, “and I’m sure they’ll hate it.”
What does he have to say about a country with supposed free speech rights that seems almost eager to toss them out the window at the first sign of foreign displeaure?
The future should not belong to those who would slander the prophet of the DPRK.
Sony should show the movie let people decide for themselves to see it or not.
Interesting how the left wing Hollywood executives cause themselves and the US all sort of trouble.
Now the USA as a country has to respond to the threats if they are deemed to be backed by the government of N.Korea.
#1: You are blaming this “country with supposed free speech rights” for a decision made by a corporation that’s domiciled in Japan.
Read that again, and let it sink in. No more internet for you today.

#5, has free speech in this country not just suffered an abrupt curtailment, however specific, due to an abstract expression of foreign displeasure? And if free speech in this country has suffered a specific and abrupt curtailment, are people in this country not the ones whose speech has been so curtailed? And if the people in this country whose speech has been curtailed are behaving like little itty-bitty baby Mary lambs or insufferably passive Nancy boys in response, does this not trouble you? No more enjoying the fruits of a properly-functioning federal republic for you today….
