During this election cycle, voters will elect candidates for two four-year positions on the nonpartisan Village Council:

• Election Date: Tuesday, November 3, 2026 (held in conjunction with the General Election)

• Term Starts: January 2027

• Format: Nonpartisan local municipal election

How to Pick Up and Submit Your Candidate Packet

Residents who wish to run must collect, complete, and submit their official nominating petitions and election documentation through the Village Clerk’s Office.

• Location: Village Clerk’s Office (5th Floor)

• Address: Village Hall, 131 North Maple Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ

• Business Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (excluding legal holidays)

 Important Deadline:

All completed nominating petitions and election forms must be physically filed with the Village Clerk’s Office no later than 4:00 PM on Thursday, August 20, 2026.
