Glen Rock NJ, a series of burglaries targeting unlocked vehicles in Glen Rock last week remain under investigation, according to police reports.
The incidents began early on June 25th, with the first call coming in at approximately 4:26 a.m. A resident on Daryl Court reported seeing someone inside their vehicle parked outside their home. The suspect, described as wearing a black hoodie and black pants, fled towards Doremus Avenue when the resident shouted at them. Despite an area search, authorities were unable to locate the individual.
As the day progressed, additional calls from residents reported similar break-ins. In total, eight unlocked vehicles were entered overnight. The reports came from residents along the 300 and 400 blocks of Doremus Avenue, Leone Court, and Glen Rock Square.
Items stolen from the vehicles included an iPad, a wallet, $100 in cash, credit cards, and personal identification. However, no victims were able to provide descriptions of the intruder after reviewing their home video surveillance systems.
There was also an attempt to enter a ninth vehicle on Doremus Avenue, which was unsuccessful.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the burglaries. The Glen Rock Police Department continues to investigate the incidents and urges residents to lock their vehicles and remain vigilant.
