Hackensack NJ, on November 8th, the City of Hackensack Fire Department’s 1st Platoon responded to a vehicle fire in the parking garage of Hackensack University Medical Center. The incident involved an engine compartment fire that was quickly contained thanks to the coordinated efforts of HUMC Security and 1st Platoon firefighters.
The fire, which could have posed a risk to nearby vehicles and the hospital infrastructure, was promptly knocked down, ensuring minimal disruption to the medical center and maintaining safety for staff, patients, and visitors.
Firefighters thanked the Hackensack University Medical Center Security for their fast response and teamwork in handling the situation effectively!
