System-wide cross-honoring is in effect Friday, January 7, on NJ TRANSIT rail, light rail, bus, and private carriers

Ridgewood NJ, NJ TRANSIT is monitoring severe weather expected to pass through the region late Thursday, January 6, and Friday, January 7.


Customers are encouraged to monitor njtransit.com for the latest service information and potential delays as the storm progresses.

Service Information:

Bus:

On Friday January 7, Bus Route Nos. 196/197 service will start and terminate at Greenwood Lake. There will be cross honoring of bus passes and tickets for Nos. 196/197 passengers on the Port Jervis Line, at the Harriman, Tuxedo and Sloatsburg Stations. Shortline Bus in Orange County New York will also be honoring NJ TRANSIT bus tickets and passes. No.196 line will not operate on Skyline Drive and will use the standard snow detour.
All other bus routes are operating as normal as long as conditions permit.

Rail:

All rail lines are operating as normal as long as conditions permit.
Light Rail:

All light rail lines are operating as normal as long as conditions permit.

Access Link:

Access Link is operating as normal as long as conditions permit.

Please exercise extreme caution around bus stops, stations and facilities as slippery conditions may exist.
