Ridgewood NJ, yet another gem from the self-proclaimed squirrel exterminator Ridgewood Councilperson Siobhan Winograd, and her seemingly uncontrollable brain/mouth combination. This absolutely outrageous remark was also made during this past Tuesday’s Fields Committee meeting, which was thankfully audio & video recorded only because Boyd Loving publicly questioned why it was initially scheduled to be an in-person meeting only (thank you Boyd).
Anyway, Councilperson Winograd must think the entire public is downright stupid, and/or using hallucinogenic drugs on a regular basis. We say this because how else could she possibly think the public would believe the Village Council’s SOLE PURPOSE in constructing an athletic complex on the former Schedler property, complete with a large artificial turf field, is to draw visitors to the location in order to showcase the $2.6 million Schedler House (and to make people want to have meetings there). Yep, that’s what she said folks; they’re building an athletic complex to draw people to the house. Can you believe it?

Just because you say it doesn’t make it true. Isn’t that also something she has said recently? Well I believe that this is a perfect example. She also said there were 5 fields!

She is her own worst enemy. Why can’t she just shut the F up?
Why can’t the mayor council do the right thing we the neighbors are complaining and concerned about our health and well-being we don’t know what got into our lungs. What about the employees that worked at these locations, they breathe the dust, they walked through it, who knows what else they weren’t told that they were working with contamination. If they knew that, I’m sure they would’ve never touch foot at these locations. And I’m sure that guidelines from the DEP that is proper protocols regarding cleaning equipment. Close, personal body, so on the village failed again. Once again they failed to perform. All this happen under their watch. In the end, they are responsible.
Just remember, Mrs. Due Diligence was made possible by your neighbors. So was the Bond King.

The village is not showcasing the house, It will be a place for kids to pee or grab a snack or take shelter from the rain. No history, nothing to marvel at and no educational opportunities saught. No Ms. Winograd, an oversized field that is so out of place, is too big and doesn’t belong on the property will not draw viditors to the house, oh sure maybe 1 or 2 looky Loos but that’s it. Such a wasted opportunity for something special.
