Long Beach Island NJ, the 33rd Annual Governor’s Surf Fishing Tournament is this Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Island Beach State Park .
Registration opens at 5:00 a.m. the day of the tournament. Tournament fees are $20.00 for adults, $5.00 for teens 13 -17 years old and free for kids 12 and under. Registration fees can only be paid by cash, money order or check.
The individual catching the largest, legal-sized fish will win the Governor’s Cup and a high end rod and reel combo, graciously donated by Tsumani Fishing Tackle.
