The Ridgewood 4th of July Celebration

Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood 4th of July Celebration will take place on July 4th. Flag raising at the train station at 9 a.m. – parade begins at 10 a.m.  Fireworks & entertainment on Veterans Field beginning with music at 6:00 pm & fireworks at approximately 9:15 pm.  Tickets to the fireworks are available at Backyard Living, Bookends, Daily Treat, Goffle Brook Farms, and The Wine Seller. Also available are food trucks and a beer garden, on Veterans Field.  50/50 tickets are available for sale at Parkwood Deli, on the corner of Glen Avenue and Erie Avenue, in Midland Park, and the winning ticket will be drawn just prior to the fireworks beginning.  Come and enjoy this annual tradition.

  1. That is one expensive day for the village, between the parade and fireworks overtime. Much cost the taxpayers 100,000.

  3. Is alcohol being allowed on Vets Field because it is not technically a municipal park, as state law forbids?

  4. Who cares, who’s paying the overtime. We think the taxpayers should know where this money is coming from. but most of us love July 4, but I rather see that money be used to feed people in the village a Ridgewood that need it. Just saying.
