Let’s compare what President Trump has accomplished since the inauguration (with that enormous crowd!) with what congressional Republicans have done.
In the past three weeks, Trump has: staffed the White House, sent a dozen Cabinet nominees to the Senate, browbeat Boeing into cutting its price on a government contract, harangued American CEOs into keeping their plants in the United States, imposed a terrorist travel ban, met with foreign leaders and nominated a Supreme Court justice, among many other things.
(And still our hero finds time to torment the media with his tweets!)
What have congressional Republicans been doing? Scrapbooking?
More than 90 percent of congressional Republicans kept their jobs after the 2016 election, so you can cross “staffing an entire branch of government” off the list. Only the Senate confirms nominees, which they’ve been doing at a snail’s pace, so they’ve got loads of free time — and the House has no excuse at all.
Where’s the Obamacare repeal? Where are the hearings featuring middle-class Americans with no health insurance because it was made illegal by Obamacare?
The House passed six Obamacare repeals when Obama was president and there was no chance of them being signed into law. Back then, Republicans were full of vim and vigor! But the moment Trump became president, the repeals came to a screeching halt.
After the inauguration (gigantic!), House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell put out a plan for repealing Obamacare … in 200 days. They actually gave their legislative agenda this inspiring title: “The Two Hundred Day Plan.”
Bad sign for Trump. It seems to me that besides being eternal lazy bums many of them including Ryan hate Trump and will do anything to undermine him including just sitting around and wasting time. Trump in return will blow out. As a CEO he just can’t accept that his stakeholders don’t give a shit about the ship. Liberals idea of impeaching Trump in a couple of years (they will find some stupid reason) will probably be supported by the republican filth and the perfect storm will down the President. The swamp will eat him. I hope all this is fantasy and Trump succeeds for the sake of our country.
He cannot remain in charge of the free world.
Trump just had a press conference and it wasn’t pretty. The same mumbling music about fake news, unfair media, polls etc.He has ZERO public speaking skills. Sometimes he really seems crazy. BUT I just have to turn TV to CNN and see what the other side looks like. Then I realize that Trump is not that bad. I can’t stand him most of the time but I would still vote for him thanks to our liberals.
Lost
LOL but true
Trump isn’t pretty but he will do the right thing by our country
Economy will improve
Left wing progressive liberals are complete loons.
Hope republicans pick up the 60 seats in 2018 and we don’t have to deal with Schumer and Pelosi.
I’m hoping the left is crazy enough to elect Keith Ellison as DNC Chair.
That will be the last nail in the coffin
Haven’t seen Al Sharpton at the White House lately only CEO’s of Major Corporations
What a relief
trump will not last 6 months. He is a mess.
I listened to most of his show yesterday in the car. I thought that he seemed unstable. Flailing away at all perceived injustices. He can’t figure out why Americans don’t like him. He said that he would unite the country and then went on to criticize individuals in the room.
Politics reached a new low when trump entered the primary and continues with him in the oval office. In psychology there is a syndrome called the “Dark Triad”. He fits the bill.
From Psychology Today
“What is the Dark Triad?
Three core personality trait dimensions that underlie the Dark Triad are:
Psychopathy: The tendency to show little regard for the thoughts, feelings, and outcomes of others.
Narcissism: The tendency for one to show a particularly high focus on oneself.
Machiavellianism: The tendency to manipulate others for one’s own personal gain.”
the pop psychology would apply to Howard Dean, Hillary Clinton, Joe Bidden , Al Gore
@9.17:
You seem to be a doctor. How about Maxine Waters? What can be the diagnosis for her? Dumb? Mental? Deranged? All of them? She is a key figure in Democratic party. Oh God I want to cry.
Maxine Waters is dumb not deranged lol
5:41… Liberals and Progressives are radically different. Progressives are a recent development, walling themselves in with an amen corner, similar to extreme right wing crazies. They are absolutists who consider any divergent thought a threat. When I think liberal, I think of WWII vets like George McGovern, B24 tail gunner. Liberals actually will disagree with you and defend your right to your opinion. There’s still a few of us left. Reagan would be considered progressive today by ultra right wing nuts and JFK would be considered conservative by ultra wing left nuts. And yes, Maxine Waters is a left wing nut and stupid as hell. And Todd Akin is a right wing nut and stupid as hell. There are more than enough nut jobs on both fringes.
9:17 a doctor?
How about a liberal progressive loon who preaches inclusion but can not include anyone with a differing position.

I appreciate that you separate yourself from the majority of the left who are intolerant idiots. (Al Sharpton at the White House how many times?)
You and your like minded patriots are much closer to the GOP than you are to the progressive nuts.
