Paramus NJ, a collision involving a school transportation van on Route 17 southbound near Route 4 westbound in Paramus on Tuesday morning, January 7, left three individuals injured, including a 16-year-old student.
Details of the Accident
The crash occurred during the morning commute and involved a Honda Odyssey van. All three injured individuals were occupants of the van and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Emergency responders from the Paramus Police Department and Paramus EMS were on the scene. Two Paramus EMS ambulances transported the injured to Hackensack University Medical Center’s main campus for medical treatment.
Highway Recovery Efforts
Both the school transportation van and another vehicle involved in the accident were removed from the highway by a flatbed tow truck, helping to restore traffic flow.
