Traffic Alert: Temporary Closure at Linwood & North Maple in Ridgewood for Signal Upgrade

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — The Village of Ridgewood Signal Department has announced a temporary road closure at the busy intersection of Linwood Avenue and North Maple Avenue on Wednesday, July 30 and Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, as part of a traffic signal upgrade project.

A rain date is scheduled for Friday, August 1, in case of inclement weather.

What to Expect:

• Intermittent closures of the Linwood/North Maple intersection.

• Detour routes will be clearly marked to redirect traffic.

• Ridgewood Police officers will be on-site to guide drivers and maintain safety.

• Travelers are urged to allow extra time or choose alternate routes during the work hours.
