Tuesday afternoon Collision Shuts Down Route 17 South Bound

Saddle River NJ, Saddle River Police investigated a Tuesday afternoon, 10/16, three (3) vehicle crash that resulted in the temporary closure of two (2) travel lanes on Route 17 southbound near East Allendale Avenue, Saddle River. Two (2) occupants of a white colored 4-door sedan were transported by ambulance to The Valley Hospital with non life threatening injuries. The drivers of a box truck and tractor trailer involved in the collision were uninjured. All three (3) damaged vehicles were removed from the scene by separate tow trucks.
