Saddle River Benefit Dinner Raises Over $178K for Childhood Cancer Society, Funding Adventures for Families

Saddle River NJ, the Childhood Cancer Society’s annual benefit dinner, hosted by Saddle River Mayor Albert Kurpis and his wife Judy, raised a remarkable $178,596 to support families impacted by pediatric cancer. Held on October 24 at Ridgewood Country Club, the event also celebrated the launch of the Adventure Ted Challenge, a fundraising initiative to boost the charity’s Wish Grant Budget and provide uplifting adventures for children and their families.

Saddle River Police Officer Cleared for Full Duty and Returned to Patrol

Our Brother Officer, PO Mark Dunn, who answered our request for mutual aid, is still hospitalized facing multiple surgeries. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers. UPDATE: Four-Car Chain-Reaction Crash on Route 17 Leads to Arrest of 18-Year-Old for DWI

Saddle River NJ, a four-car, chain-reaction crash occurred Saturday night on Route 17 South near East Allendale Road when a Range Rover lost control and rear-ended two police vehicles and a stopped car. The driver, Joseph Ford, 18, of New York City, was later arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), along with multiple other charges.

These scammers, often armed with personal information obtained illegally from the dark web, use threats of embarrassment to coerce victims into paying via Bitcoin.

Saddle Riiver NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 54-year-old MUHAMMAD NADEEM YOUSUF of Waldwick, NJ on a charge of sexual assault. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Saddle River Police Department under the direction of Chief Jason Cosgriff.

Saddle River Police: Unoccupied Home Ransacked Friday Afternoon

Saddle River NJ, on Friday afternoon December 22nd, Saddle River patrol units were dispatched to a residence off of Chestnut Ridge Road for a residential burglary. Unknown actors smashed a rear first floor window for access to the unoccupied home. The alarms system was not activated which allowed these actors ample time to ransack the entire home. Please set your alarms system as much as possible, even when you’re home.

Saddle River NJ, the Saddle River Covered Bridge is finally coming about. The bridge will connect 10+ acres of unused landlocked land to the beautiful Rindlaub Park. According to Saddle River Mayor Kurpis the borough  is exploring several amenities, such as River view, sculptures, bird watching, fishing, walking trail, etc.
