The UPS driver alerted authorities after witnessing a suspicious incident and provided a detailed description of the suspects’ getaway vehicle—a white Jeep Cherokee—and its direction of travel.

Acting on the information, Glen Rock patrol officers located and stopped the vehicle. A consensual search was conducted, leading to the arrest of both occupants.

The suspects were transported to Glen Rock Police headquarters for processing, and their vehicle was towed to an impound yard for further investigation.

This incident highlights the importance of community vigilance and cooperation in deterring package theft, especially during the holiday season when such crimes tend to increase. Residents are encouraged to take precautions, such as tracking deliveries and promptly retrieving packages, to reduce the risk of theft.
