Twp. of Washington NJ, in an unusual incident on Thursday afternoon, July 18, a red late-model Toyota Corolla sedan rolled or was driven in reverse down a steep driveway, ending up wedged under the rear deck of a single-family home in Washington Township. Remarkably, the driver reported no injuries.
The incident took place in the 700 block of Van Emburgh Avenue, drawing a swift response from the Washington Township Police Department and Fire Department. Upon arrival, firefighters worked to stabilize the rear deck, ensuring the safety of the scene before a flatbed tow truck could extricate the Corolla.
Once the vehicle was safely removed, it was taken from the scene, leaving residents to marvel at the unusual crash. Fortunately, the quick response of the local emergency services helped prevent any injuries or further damage.
