Ridgewood NJ, Today Wednesday, April 26, from 7:30 am to 1 pm, The Valley Hospital and local emergency personnel will be conducting a safety drill. During this time, you may see unusual activity at the hospital such as the presence of police cars and fire trucks. Please keep in mind that this is only a drill and there is no reason to be alarmed.
Who is paying for this? Village taxpayers? What the f$&@!?!?!?!
If Valley has “not for profit ” status, who pays for the cops and fire participation in this excercise? If it’s not Valley then the Council has to stop this or send the bill to Valley. This is taxpayer abuse otherwise.

This is a statewide anti-terrorism drill conducted at every hospital emergency room and required in preparation of a disaster or terrorist event.
So the state is footing the bill for our Village police and fire to participate?
