The Ridgewood Village Council will not hold any meetings until fall on a change in the master plan that will permit The Valley Hospital to double in size, council members decided Wednesday.
Councilwoman Bernadette Walsh suggested weighing in on the plan as early as June and devoting several meetings over the summer to the amended master plan, all of which would be scheduled well in advance so the public could plan accordingly, she said.
However, Mayor Keith Killion and the rest of the council opted to wait until the fall to conduct meetings to give residents ample opportunity to attend meetings.
“My feelings were, we’ve waited long enough,’’ Walsh said Thursday. “We’re kind of putting everyone on hold.’’
