Special Public Hearing – October 14, 2015
The Village Council of the Village of Ridgewood shall conduct a Public Hearing in the Sydney V. Stoldt, Jr. Court Room on the fourth floor of the Ridgewood Village Hall, 131 North Maple Ave., Ridgewood, NJ at its October 14, 2015 Regular Public Meeting, which meeting begins at 8:00 p.m.
The purpose of this Public Hearing is for the Village Council to receive comments and suggestions from the public for the Village of Ridgewood’s 2015 Bergen County Open Space Trust Fund Municipal Park Improvement and Development Grant application. The Village has applied for this grant for Phase 1 work on the Schedler Park property, located at 460 West Saddle River Road, Ridgewood, NJ. Phase 1 would encompass basic infrastructure improvements to include: installation of underground utilities (water, electric, sewer); demolition of two-car garage, small shed; capping of inoperable well; selective removal of down, dead, diseased trees; site clean-up; and cut in proposed parking lot driveway entrance.

Grab your ankles…here it comes….
I noticed that the debt service in year one is $36,000. How much money is the Village borrowing for construction of the garage? Because if it is $5 million, the amount I have heard bandied about, that would reflect a interest rate of 0.73% Am I to understand that the Village is borrowing the money at less than 1%?
$5 million i think would be a bargain, this is going to be just like the village hall prices will continue to increase. Ido understand if is pretty to look at then one of the three stooges will be pleased and damn the cost.
The amount to be borrowed is currently projected at $13 million.
My bad, the $36,000 represents current debt service. What ever that is. The debt service on $13 million is $444,750 or 3.42% which also seems very low. The debt coverage ratio is 1.78 which is even more concerning (and unrealistic) because they are projecting 100% occupancy.
Why are they allowed to have say YES signs all over downtown? Is that the business owners property or village property?
Let barrow 50 million. Why not people think that its a good deal because the interest rate is very low. The charge and go generation.
It is Village property and there is currently no local ordinance that prohibits the display of either political or election related signs on public property.
Do we know if Gwenn Hauck will be able to comprehend anything in the Walker report other than the color of the cover page?
So one could print up some vote no signs and place them the same? Why am I having a hard time believing that they would be allowed to stay… Were they paid for by the chamber of commerce?
Did you catch Gwennie Girl saying that the only thing that matters to her is the appearance of the structure? Seriously, never mind the 15 million dollars. She just wants to talk about how it will look. She is a nucking futcase.
See page 24. End of story.
Gwenn Hauck does not need to comprehend the report. Whoever keeps writing to her during the meetings will tell her what to say. Yes, Gwenn, we see that you are busy reading and writing during meetings, we see the glow of your device shining off your glasses. Your handlers are providing most of what you say. You are best when you go off script and start rambling on about people should all be nice to each other. You need to be reminded that you are one of the nastiest people in the room. Just last week you went after Mike Sedon like a pit bull, no that is a bad analogy, unfair to the pitt bull. You were badgering him and hammering him, just as we have seen you do to Bernie Walsh, Tom Riche, Susan Knudsen and others. Honey child, you need to look in the mirror – you can lecture the crowd about how you are always so respectful, and you can reprimand the naysayers, but in fact you have shown repeatedly that you can be a class-A B*TCH.
“Were they paid for by the chamber of commerce?” I would think so. Thats where you can pick them up Im told. You know the old saying ” Follow the Money”
Rich, thanks for the pointer to page 24.
I wasn’t in the mood to read the report, but now I must.
“Given that the new demand stream is not anticipated to cover debt service for the garage, the parking system will need to increase revenue on existing spaces if it is to be self-supporting.”
Man the Rampaarts
Proving the old adage once again: “There is no such thing as a free lunch.”
They think we are all FOOLS…Lets prove them WRONG
I wonder if Gwenn has made it beyond the cover page yet?
