Ridgewood NJ, on Monday, May 26 at 11:00 am, Ridgewood American Legion Post 53 conducted its annual Memorial Day Service in Memorial Park at Van Neste Square, honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of our nation in all branches of our armed forces.
Speakers included Rev. Sung H. Ahn of Ridgewood United Methodist Church, Mayor Paul Vagianos and RHS Senior Michael LoGrasso, who read his essay, “What Americanism Means to Me.”
The Village manager Keith Kazmark said in a Facebook post, ” Thank you to American Legion Post 53 for continuing the annual Memorial Day service here in the Village. Today, we heard from keynote speaker Mike Feeney – who we thank for his service and all who served. God bless all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.”
