While New York failed to land a single city on the top 50 list, New Jersey stood strong, securing seven entries overall. Ridgewood led the way for the Garden State, reinforcing its reputation as a sought-after commuter hub just 45 minutes from Manhattan.

The nation’s top three spots went to:

1. Western Springs, Illinois — Mean income: $294,896, Avg. home value: $837,328

2. Lexington, Massachusetts — Known for its high-income residents and premium home values

3. Winchester, Massachusetts — Another wealthy Boston-area suburb with extremely low crime rates
