Ridgewood NJ, according to the Village Manager Keith Kazmark , Village Tax bills were certified by the county on July 10, 2024 and will be mailed on July 31, 2024. The grace period to pay your bill has been extended to August 26, 2024. There are no estimated or preliminary bills this year.
Please note: If payment is not received by August 26, 2024, interest will revert to August 1, 2024.

Why does it take from July 10 to July 31 to print and mail a piece of paper?
They are waiting on the State.
This is very common in All NJ municipalities.
they have such poor management at village hall they can’t even get tax bills out on time!
We need a manager that gets even the little things done properly and in a timely manner
It’s that way in Glen Rock too.
They can’t do anything until all the numbers are finalized, and not all of them come from in town.

If you want, you can look up your new tax bill on line, print it out and Pay it as usual now.
