Ridgewood NJ, just a reminder as to garbage pick up after a winter snow emergency:
1.Solid waste and recycling employees will be picking up garbage and recycling as long as road conditions permit.
2.All garbage and recycling containers must be placed at the curb (not in the street) on January 8 and January 9, 2024.
3.Temperatures are forecast to drop below freezing and to cause black ice on pavement. Bringing all containers to the curb will help ensure the health and safety of our Sanitation Team.
4.Rear yard garbage collection will resume on Thursday January 11, 2024, but please continue to place your garbage cans at the end of your driveway until you have a clear path to them. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our Village employees safe.
5.Recycling Center will have a delayed opening on Monday January 8, 2024, to allow the staff to clear the snow, and salt. We will open from 10am-3pm

It all ways should be at the curb. Every thing else is.
If you like looking at trash cans move back to Paterson
Unfortunately we’re past that. In my street there are people who put their yard trash bins on the curb 3-4 days ahead or don’t pickup their bins from the curb for a few days. We’re getting there. RW-PAT should be the name of our new city.
many newbies dont realize the fake covid emergency is over. slobs
