  1. What criteria did Village Council members use in the selection process?

  2. And North Van Dien isn’t on the list because?

  3. what about oak in the c b d, in front of my store is shot, the last time they paved it was in 1990.

Some of these streets have been on, then OFF the list for 5 years.
Get in line, wait your turn.

Just fyi, those on the list were passed over in favor of a parking lot in the CBD in the past. They were told ‘no money since we are doing stuff in the CBD’.. And none have been done even close to 1990.

  6. #3 are you a member of the Chamber because certain members do have an in with our Mayor. Maybe they could speak to him on your behalf. If you want a stone planter in front of you store now the time to act..

  7. come on look at hudson lot, I park my car to go into church and that can use a new paving job.

  8. No #7 the new Bergen County Parking Authority parking garage is going there. Our Council is selling Ridgewood one piece at a time.

  9. How about Vesta court?

  10. These arguments have been the same for the last twenty years be patient your turn will come.

  11. Yes my turn will come the question is will I live to see it.

  12. An interesting point when it comes to paving is about grant money. Several years ago when oak st was being paved I saw some unusual test equipment being used when I asked what it was for the village employee responded it was to test the asphalt because it was a grant job from the state. I asked why we don’t get more grants ? he replied because the village practices not partisan politics. So I did a little digging and found a state dot inspector who confirmed it. He said a town like Rwd. loses a lot in steering committees in Trenton because it practices non partisan politics. Maybe we should rethink this practice?

  13. WOW #12

  14. What about Lake Ave off of Godwin? That road is horrendous. They fixed that bridge but the road is terrible.
