Waldwick NJ, beginning January 2, 2023, the paid on-street parking near the Waldwick train station will change from using physical meters to mobile payment. The Borough of Waldwick has contracted with ParkMobile for contactless parking payment. You will be able to pay via the ParkMobile app, by scanning a QR code on the signs, by texting “Park” 77223 or by calling 877-727-5304.

When paying for parking you will have to enter your zone numberwhich will be located on nearby signs, select the duration of the time you want to park, confirm your information and monitor. You will be able to extend time remotely if needed.

  1. No smartphone, no park?

  2. Not only is this requirement (rather than option) elitist and ignores the fact that even smartphone owners can have a broken or dead or lost one, or have left it at home, but it also requires paying an additional fee that goes to that company, not even the town, every time you park or add time to a meter. Just wrong.

    1. That is so ridiculous that we live in waldwick and we have to pay to park to go to work. I am considering to move out of Waldwick because of this parking issue.

  3. It’s important to track everyone’s every movement so we can understand and control them.
