Just when we thought that we’d heard it all

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood resident Boyd Loving may have let the cat out of the bag during Wednesday night’s Village Council meeting when he asked Council members about an alleged plan that would permit property developers to build/renovate in the Village’s Central Business District without providing the requisite number of on-site parking spaces. In lieu of providing on-site parking, a developer would supposedly contribute to a fund earmarked for the construction of a new parking structure(s).

No one on the dais except Councilperson Siobhan Winograd responded to Mr. Loving’s question. Ms. Winograd denied her personal involvement in any discussions regarding such a plan. Everyone else on the dais was surprisingly silent. Hmm.
And exactly how many properties in the CBD does Mayor Vagianos actually own? Hmm. Double hmm.

  1. UNBELIEVABLE!

  2. Oops
That’s why no one should be able to ask questions! Lol

  3. This is not going to work. Unless they have some other sneaky plan.

  4. We all love the picture of the village engineer / director of Dpw standing with the council supposedly retiring March 1. Is he retiring on his will, or did the mayor council suggest either you retire or you’re fired. Which is it we all know. That’s why he dressed like that. Because he looks like he’s working a lollipop stand at the circus.😳

    1. His wife was in the audience with him and refused to stand next to him when he received his certificate. That’s the kind of guy he is. She knows a dirtbag when she sees a dirtbag.

  5. he is in the center of everything fcked-up in Ridgewood the last 15 or so years

  6. did Chris pick up the shit from good will?

  7. the former “engineer” was an incompetent boob

  8. His parting words to the Mayor had nothing to do with his tenure – that said a lot. He deflected by saying its his moms birthday and walked away. MIC DROP, that tells you what really happened.

  9. Just like downtown Paterson. Build apartments & municipal garages. The village of Ridgewood will charge the new suckers monthly rates to park in the garage. The big lot across from the post office can be a multi story parking garage.

  10. Theres the Ridgewood Mater plan and then theres the Village Councils Master Plan

  11. The “New“ parking garage is slated to be built on North Walnut Street. And you can forget about that proposed pocket park where the Town Garage was, they will grab that property for the “New” garage too.

  12. They are keeping Siobhan in the dark because she’s an idiot with a big mouth.

  13. The developer funded garage will reportedly be built at the corner of N. Walnut St. and Franklin Avenue. The former Town Garage property will likely be included in the footprint since Mayor Paul Vagianos has stated publicly that he does not believe it is suited for a pocket park. However, the shuttered auto repair shop property was seized by eminent domain with the court being told it was for purposes of constructing a park. So, court approval will likely be necessary for the parking garage plan is finalized. Some coincidence that the planned parking garage will be in the same block as a piece of commercial property owned by Mr. Vagianos. Wow!

  14. This council is coming undone like a 1st graders shoelace

  15. I love all this shit, hey Chris, how does it feel what comes around goes around. I told you you’re screwed with the wrong person. Have a good one see ya, you jackass. You cost a down a lot of money oh well that’s why I’m smiling. I want you lost in the village lost. Thank you. It’s time for a nice steak and lobster dinner on the village once again.

  16. Former mayor and original Amigo Paul A. always wanted a large build on the town garage and parking lot site – so this all adds up. The push for more high density is going into overdrive.

  17. Oh well,

  18. Wait until they build on North Maple at the old village Ford dealer. We wonder how are the schools gonna be impacted?
