Woodcliff Lake NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of RAYMUNDO E. COLLADO (DOB: 9/14/1996; single; unemployed) of 52 18th Avenue, Paterson, NJ, on charges of distribution and possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Woodcliff Lake Police Department under the direction of Chief Steven Regula.
On October 3, 2023, during a narcotics investigation, detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force and Woodcliff Lake Police Department conducted a traffic stop of RAYMUNDO COLLADO’s vehicle in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. A search was conducted on the vehicle and detectives located 120 glassine wax folds containing suspected fentanyl, 10 small zip-lock bags containing crack cocaine, and 23 vials of crack cocaine. The investigation revealed that approximately five days prior, COLLADO had distributed suspected fentanyl in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.
As a result of the investigation, RAYMUNDO COLLADO was arrested at the scene and charged with third-degree distribution of fentanyl, N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(5); third-degree possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(5); and third-degree possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(3). COLLADO was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ.
Prosecutor Musella states that the charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and he would like to thank the Woodcliff Lake Police Department for its assistance in this investigation.
