Looks like Gary Muzio’s “I will cast one vote” did jack shit for his candidate.
Say bye bye O to the 90 foot baseball field at Schedler Gary.
Congratulations to our new Deputy Mayor, effective July 1, Susan Knudsen.
I personally would like to thank Joe Coppola, a busy-body high school baseball mom and the football association for sending out emails reminding me to vote today.
I voted for Knudsen and Sedon.
Good luck to our two new council members!
Albano lost in every district, even his own.
Check your math re turnout…
The mayor should take note. No more “yes men” .
Thank you Susan and Mike!
Bergen Record quote from Albano. “I hope they realize that there’s 25,000 people they need to look after, and not special interest groups.”
A snipe from the special interest candidate.
Lets get the signs in the trash now please.
A snipe from the LONE special interest candidate.
These election results send a clear message to special interest groups like Valley, the developers and sad to say now, the sports lobby. What a disaster for youth sports in this town to have been dragged down by a handful of agenda driven zealots who somehow felt that the only way to get a new field was to get one of their own on the Council. And then there’s our opportunistic Mayor who thought that he could parlay that zeal into getting another inexperienced one issue candidate to vote with him.
Great work by the CRR and CBR to shine a light on the issues and get the vote out. I hope they continue to work together to shut down the current Master Plan Amendment processes. Now it’s time to get the 2007 Ordinance off the books before the next wave of special interests come along to amend the Master Plan for their own gain.
Good luck to Mrs. Knudson and Mr. Sedon.
#10 – I literally almost choked on my morning coffee when I read that!!! How obtuse can Mr. Albano be?
I think we need to start a list of “Albano-isms”
“I work 12 – 13 hours a day and don’t have time . . ” .
“I hope they realize that there’s 25,000 people they need to look after, and not special interest groups.”
“Yes, I vote on a regular basis”
“The RBSA has done nothing wrong and we’ll straighten out the IRS paperwork soon”
#11 the sports lobby is nothing new they have been around a long time, if you disagree with them then all they say is what about the kids to attempt to make you look bad.
Sedon and Knudsen campaigns are asking residents to leave their yard signs in place for a few days to be picked up and reused or recycled.
# 3 makes an excellent point. Protocol has been that the top vote getter becomes Deputy mayor. But I’m guessing the self absorbed trio will take their marbles and go home with Pucc and Aronsohn remaining in their seats.
Reused?
Yeah, for the next time they run in 4 years.
May 13th 2018 is a Sunday. No election on that date.
Knudsen for Mayor. She beat Paul in vote getting even with his White Horse Strategist and his political friends help
Was told the metal sign holders are expensive and they can be reused or sold to another candidate.
Magic Marker?
They could always reuse the metal stands….
