Ridgewood NJ, On Saturday, November 28, 2015 The Ridgewood Guild sponsored its fifth annual Winterfest, to coincide with Small Business Saturday!
Memorial Park at Van Neste Square set the stage with special holiday performances by The Orpheus Club Men’s Chorus and Declan Power!

Despite the dreary weather the park was in a festive mood ,the  horse drawn hayrides circled around town, cookies, candy canes, complimentary hot chocolate as well as a trackless train ride and more! To many the the Orpheus Club Men’s Chorus singing on the hayride was a big hit.

Its was a great way to kick the holiday season in gear and support your local businesses!

  1. This was a fantastic event all the way around. Too bad the weather did not cooperate, but I had a great time regardless with my daughter and son, ages 10 and 6. Santa was making the rounds, Carlos bakery gave out cookies, Raymonds gave out some sweets, it was a feel-good fun time for all.

Only down side was the gas-bag mayor wandering around trying to get himself in front of any camera he could find. Hey you jackass, why don’t you resolve the Habenickel and Schedler messes so our neighborhoods can remain peaceful. Stop worrying about photo ops and try running the town.

  2. I concur. The event was marred by the mayor’s appearance. Stay home flunkie and stop showing your sad ass face around.
